Light grinder for your workshop
In the DeWALT model family, the DWE4237 grinder is considered small and light. It weighs only 1.85 kg (not a bad figure for a 1400 W angle grinder) and fits well in the hand thanks to its compact size. But on the case there are not enough rubberized pads that would make the grip more confident and reliable.
Designed with reliability in mind
Angle grinder DeWALT DWE4237 is equipped with a dust protection system. At the rear end there is a diffuser designed to trap large dust particles. The carbon brushes of the motor and the reduction gear are larger than those of the same power class angle grinders to achieve high reliability and longer service intervals. On the metal case of the gearbox there are massive fins for its cooling. The soft start system reduces the load on the engine and jerks when the grinder is turned on. All this contributes to a long tool life without breakage.
Convenient but noisy
Grinding wheels with a diameter of 125 mm are fastened in the classic way — using a clamping nut. The quick-release hood, which protects against sparks and particles, can be rotated to the desired position by simply unlocking it with a lever.
The grinder is perfect for those who need a compact and lightweight tool for filigree work. But the high noise level (103 dB) forces the use of protective headphones for prolonged use. Like most DeWALT grinders, this model has an additional handle that can be installed on either side, which is very important for left-handers.
