Representative of the new generation

The main difference between the DeWALT DCS334N and previous generations of electric jigsaws is a modern brushless motor. It is more compact and more powerful than conventional brushed motors and holds loads better. But just as importantly, jigsaws with brushless motors consume less energy and therefore last longer on a single battery charge (battery not included, by the way).

Far from modest features

The jigsaw has a large cutting depth (135 mm when working on wood). Molded soleplate tilts for angled sawing. Inside the case with a rubberized handle, there is a “hardware” that makes this model a professional tool: a pendulum sawing mechanism with four-position adjustment and “smart” electronics that provide smooth engine start and the possibility of flexible speed control. The sawdust blowing system (with the ability to connect a vacuum cleaner) and built-in LED lighting are responsible for comfort.

For those who won't stand up for the price

This jigsaw is for those who have high demands. If you are not satisfied with the modest capabilities of a low-cost tool, like the Interskol MP-55 / 500E DM, or have doubts about the quality of inexpensive professional models, like the Phiolent Master PM 5-750EM, then it makes sense to choose DeWALT electric jigsaws, despite the difference in price.
