Small universal wrench
The DeWALT DCF880M2 wrench has 250 watts of net power and 203 Nm of torque. Such characteristics cannot be called outstanding (against the background, for example, DeWALT DCF894P2 with 447 Nm of torque). But even this is enough to use this wrench to repair cars and agricultural machinery, install engineering systems and communications, install industrial equipment or assemble metal structures.
Almost perfect
DeWALT DCF880M2 is a compact and lightweight tool. With a 4 Ah battery, it weighs 1.62 kg (1.1 kg without battery). The wrench is “grasping”, fits perfectly in the hand and has a good weight distribution. It has a 3-LED ring light that evenly (though slightly dimly) illuminates the work area. A clip is screwed to the body — a hook for hanging the tool on a belt or fanny pack.
The only thing that causes serious criticism in terms of ergonomics is a square with a locking pin. The ball in the holder is so strongly spring-loaded that it is difficult to replace the end heads (you have to wring out the pin with great effort).
DeWalt won't let you down
This wrench is a classic DeWALT workhorse that works flawlessly in all conditions. It can be used as a professional tool in the workshop or construction site (unless very high torque is required) or kept in the garage for changing shoes. The DeWALT DCF880M2 impact wrench is easy to upgrade to a tangential impact screwdriver. To do this, you just need to buy a Dewalt DT7508 adapter (you can find it in our catalog), with which you can use bits.
In this configuration, the tool is sold with a case and two batteries. If you already have such 18-volt XR batteries (for example, from a grinder, saw, jigsaw, router or other tool), then you can take the DeWALT DCF880N “carcass” (without case and battery) and save about $150.
