Dell's top-of-the-line small-format ultrabooks with high-quality, thin-bezel 13.3-inch InfinityEdge screens based on FullHD/UltraHD resolution IPS matrices with wide colour gamut. The older models of the family are equipped with screens with a touch surface and protective glass Gorilla Glass 4. The devices of the line are distinguished by ultra-compact overall dimensions of the aluminium case (11.6 mm), the design of which is reinforced with carbon fibre, and a low weight of 1.27 kg.
The manufacturer is positioned as premium ultrabooks of the 2019 model year, designed for wealthy users who are demanding in terms of weight and size characteristics and battery life. The Dell XPS 13 9380 laptops are based on the 8th generation Intel Core platform in the form of 4-core Core i5 / i7 processors (Whiskey Lake core, 14 nm) with improved multi-threaded performance (Intel Hyper-Threading).
The built-in LPDDR3 RAM is 8GB or 16GB and cannot be upgraded in the future. High-speed NVMe SSDs guarantee fast system start-ups and ensure flawless system responsiveness under load. The laptops are equipped with a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 adapter (802.11n/ac) and three USB Type-C ports (including two USB 3.1 C Gen 2 with support for the universal Thunderbolt 3 interface). The capacious battery provides up to 17 hours of battery life.
