Dell Alienware 17 R4

This laptop is a pre-top gaming model from Dell Alienware's 2016 premium brand. This laptop is difficult to attribute to solutions with high mobility, it weighs 4.4 kg and has an impressive size. Dell engineers made such a compromise in order to organize the correct cooling of a powerful processor and graphics card, which other manufacturers often save on. A capacious battery also weighs a lot, capable of providing impressive battery life for such a configuration (up to 5 hours in economy mode, and about 2 hours in gaming mode). Also, the dimensions and weight were influenced by the large FullHD 17.3-inch screen based on a high-quality IPS matrix. The keyboard is full-sized, with a numeric keypad and five-zone RGB LED-backlit (the backlight colour of each zone can be configured individually). The body is made of aluminium, plastic and carbon fibre — carbon fibre. The build quality is excellent. For high gaming and computing performance, a 4-core Intel Core i7 processor, a powerful discrete graphics card from the nVidia GeForce family and up to 32 GB of high-speed DDR4-2400 RAM are responsible. The system uses two drives: the Windows 10 Home operating system is installed on an SSD — the second drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB, depending on the modification of the device, and it makes sense to store multimedia and installation files on a terabyte HDD drive. There is a unique eye tracking sensor and the corresponding Tobii Eye-Tracking technology. Powerful hardware and a well-thought-out design provide consistently high gaming performance without throttling and friezes, which other manufacturers cannot always boast of.
