As stated at the beginning, the Defender Black M delivers exactly what you would expect from a simple gaming pad. The mouse quickly glides over the surface without any lags and is confidently positioned in space, and the pad itself firmly “sticks” to the table and does not fidget during sudden movements. Most likely, experienced esports players will find some disadvantages of the coating in comparison with the more expensive mats from Razer, Zowie or Asus, but if you are not such an expert, then you are unlikely to notice right away. Given that they ask for only $4 for it, it turns out to be a fairly versatile option that will suit both gamers and those who want to update an old plastic mat with equal success.
