The model is also notable for the fact that it is based on the EXAM platform, which is relatively new to the brand, and therefore differs from other solutions in dimensions (in this case, 24.5x38.5x43 cm) and the location of the main components (for example, the tank is on the right and holds 1.4 liters).

The main feature of the De'Longhi Rivelia EXAM 440.55.B coffee machine is the presence of a removable hopper for 250 grams of beans - the Bean Switch system. There are two such sealed containers in the kit - one with a black lid and the other with a white lid, which will make it easy to change the raw materials for preparation. This is convenient if there are those in the family who like a more bitter and more sour taste or there are fans of black coffee and milk drinks.

At the same time, it uses the usual conical metal millstones with flexible grinding adjustment, there is an automatic cappuccino maker (LatteCrema system with a jug and foam density adjustment), a removable brewing unit, a 19-bar pump and a flow-through 1450-watt thermal block. With the help of a 3.5-inch color touch screen and additional buttons, you can easily select your preferred recipe from a large number of available automatic programs (16 options) and flexibly customize any of the drinks for yourself or create a new recipe. Separately, it is worth highlighting the stylish design with beveled corners of the case - it has been awarded the Red Dot and iF Design Award.
