The Daikin MCK55W implements the water principle of humidification, for which the model is equipped with a humidifying filter, a water tray and a 2.7-liter removable tank. Liquid consumption ranges from 200 to 500 mL / h: if at minimum speed refueling is required after 13.5 hours, then at maximum speed — after only 5.5 hours.
The air washer is complemented by both an ionization function and a multi-level filtration system. The pre-filter captures coarse contaminants, the electrostatic filter captures dust, smoke and fumes, the HEPA filter captures fine particles, including allergens, viruses and bacteria, and the deodorizing catalyst absorbs unpleasant odours.
The disadvantages include the high price, but the good functionality of the Daikin MCK55W, positive reviews from its predecessors and an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of climate technology convince that such a waste is largely justified.
