Dahua's outdoor security camera is a dome (Eyeball form factor) solution with a LAN connection interface. The latter can also be used for power transmission (POE technology), which allows you to limit yourself to laying a single cable. The model is based on a 2-megapixel CMOS-sensor and a wide-angle (visibility 110 degrees horizontally) lens with a fixed focal length of 2.8 mm.

Thanks to them, the Dahua DH-IPC-HDW2230TP-AS-S2 2.8 mm camera records videos in Full HD resolution at a frame rate of 25 fps. 3DNR noise reduction and DWDR + BLC backlight compensation technologies are responsible for improving the image in backlight and/or lack of lighting. At night, IR-illumination automatically comes into operation, providing visibility up to 30 metres. The functionality of the model is extended by motion detection and the ability to adjust the area of interest, a built-in microphone that allows you to record sound, direct connection to a smartphone (P2P), NAS support and the presence of a card reader (drives up to 256 GB). It is also worth noting that the case is well prepared for adverse operating conditions: IP67 protection class and frost resistance down to -40 °C.
