Daewoo GDA 6500E Master

The Master Line series of generators from the South Korean brand Daewoo includes pro-class models. In order not to be considered unfounded, let's take a look at the ins and outs of the GDA 6500E gasoline mini-power plant.

electric start

The symbol "E" in the full name of the model indicates the electric starter put into service with the unit. Electric start occurs by turning the key in the ignition. Also, the user has the right to start the generator engine in the old fashioned way — by resorting to the services of a manual starter cable. Instructions with a step-by-step sequence of actions when starting the engine are “cut out” in the form of illustrated tips on the upper die of the “body” of the model from the side of the air filter.

"Smart" automation

The Daewoo GDA 6500E Master fuel tank holds 30 liters of gasoline. In half rated power mode (2.5 kW out of 5 available), the generator continuously works for up to 19 hours without refueling the tank. Moreover, the device monitors the level of "essence" for engine lubrication on its own, drowning it out in case of oil starvation and thereby excluding a decrease in motor resource. By the way, the hour metre in the model's assets will tell you about the approached scheduled maintenance date.

Informative display

The sockets at the gas generator have developed according to the standard: the power plant has got hold of two outputs for 230 V and terminals for low-power consumers of direct current 12 V. A screen peacefully adjacent to them on the control panel of the device shows voltage, current frequency, total and current “mileage” of the motor. Optionally, the unit can be equipped with a transport kit — unfortunately, wheels and a handle for moving the generator are not included in the standard package.
