The D-Link SecuriCam 10x Optical Zoom Internet Camera is an advanced security system that allows the user to remotely monitor and listen. Once the camera is connected to a building network, campus network, or broadband Internet connection, it provides high-quality video and audio surveillance. Equipped with an embedded Web server, two-way audio for listening and talking, and a motorized swivel mechanism, this camera allows you to remotely pan, tilt, zoom, and access and control it from any PC on your network or over the Internet. With motion sensor based image recording, event triggered playback to save time, warning messages, and software to view and manage multiple cameras at the same time, this camera is a complete system for effective surveillance from a local site or from anywhere in the world via the Internet.
Clear image from different viewing angles
The D-Link SecuriCam 10x Optical Zoom Internet Camera is equipped with motorized pan, tilt and digital/optical zoom, providing great remote monitoring capabilities. With 10x optical zoom, autofocus and iris, the recorded image is clearer than when using digital zoom alone. The 10x optical zoom lens provides high image detail, which allows you to see details when a person appears in the frame, a car number and other important objects that are difficult to make out when using digital zoom.
Motion Detector
Instead of continuously recording 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, an image can only be recorded when motion is detected. This saves disk space and eliminates the time spent viewing unnecessary images. Playback takes a little time when using the Recorded Event Quick View and Recorded Event Database Search functions. With support for Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 recording, the camera is great for capturing a variety of subjects. Motion JPEG provides greater file integrity, making this codec perfect for capturing very important subjects. MPEG-4 has a smaller file size, so it is preferable for long recordings and low bandwidth networks.
Two-way audio transmission, high light sensitivity
The D-Link SecuriCam Internet Camera with 10x optical zoom has a built-in microphone. Connect a loudspeaker to it, and you can remotely chat with anyone at the camera installation site. The perfect place to take advantage of the two-way audio capability is at an entry point where you would like to identify a person before letting them through. The increased light sensitivity of the camera makes it possible to conduct video surveillance and record a video signal at an extremely low illumination level of up to 0.05 lux, that is, in almost complete darkness.
Viewing images from multiple cameras at the same time
The user can remotely monitor via the web interface or the D-Link IP surveillance software. The web interface allows 10 users to view the image from the camera simultaneously. The feature-rich IP surveillance software allows you to view and control up to 16 cameras simultaneously, including setting a recording schedule, changing motion detection settings, and changing settings for multiple cameras.
Wireless and wired network connectivity The 10x optical zoom camera family consists of two models: DCS- 6620 with Fast Ethernet port and DCS-6620G with Fast Ethernet port and 802.11g wireless interface. The wireless camera offers the convenience of being placed in a variety of locations without the need for Ethernet cabling.
