Model overview based on user reviews
The D-Link DCS-2210 is a versatile indoor surveillance camera designed for home use, featuring a 2 MP CMOS sensor, motion detection, two-way audio, and night vision capabilities with IR illumination up to 5 meters. It supports remote access via Ethernet and can be powered through PoE, making it convenient for locations without nearby outlets. However, users have noted that it functions optimally only with the Internet Explorer browser, and the recorded video playback can be problematic. Some users experienced frequent restarts, but the camera's ability to manage storage by automatically deleting old recordings is appreciated. Despite its drawbacks, including a short power cord, the camera is recommended for its functionality, especially when paired with unofficial firmware and configured for server recording.

there's nothing good there, if it happens that you accidentally buy it, set up IE. I got it as a gift, but for you, it's a headache.
It works more or less only in the IE browser. The recorded video doesn't play. You need to jump through hoops with it, good luck to you :(
weariusjust bought D-Link DCS-2210  i recommend it don't buy
Despite the drawbacks, I still recommend it for purchase.

An unofficial Russian firmware is available for the camera, which can be downloaded at http://yadi.sk/d/1WBUlQZOCnMF3
Not a bad camera, I powered it via PoE through an injector (don't remember which one, something from tp-link) and configured it to record on my Linux server, specifically on its samba share. It's enough to set the maximum volume in the settings that recordings from the camera can occupy on the disk, and the camera will automatically delete old recordings. 1 day of recording takes up 20 GB on the disk (at a resolution of 1920x1080x15fps).
restarts 2-3 times a day. Short power cord length, but with PoE it's not critical.
use D-Link DCS-2210 month or more i recommend it should buy

The creation of the Taiwanese company D-Link stands out from the general range of webcams, because. according to its purpose, the model is oriented to use as a home video surveillance system or as a baby monitor.

Remote access

The camera is connected to the World Wide Web via an Ethernet cable, from which it can also receive power if there is no outlet nearby. Access to the model is opened from any corner of the planet, for which you only need to remember the IP address of the device or subscribe to one of the free DDNS servers by assigning a domain name to the webcam (for example, homecam.dlinkddns.com). An easier way to control the image is to install the D-ViewCam application on your computer, which supports remote control and simultaneous display of images from 32 cameras on the monitor at once.

Matrix

At the heart of the D-Link DCS-2210 is a 2 MP CMOS matrix. Together with high-aperture optics (f/2.0) and the presence of infrared illumination, which effectively illuminates the surrounding space at a distance of up to 5 m, the sensor ensures the visibility of the image even when shooting in pitch darkness. When working with the camera, the user can fine-tune image parameters (brightness, saturation, contrast, sharpness, etc.).

Resolution

Recording speed in FullHD format does not exceed 15 fps. However, in order to be able to clearly see the face of a person in the frame, this indicator is more than enough. With continuous shooting in the specified format for days on end, the footage will take up approximately 20 GB of free memory on the hard disk. If necessary, the resolution can be lowered to 1280x720 pixels (HD), as a result of which the recording speed will increase to 30 fps.

Motion Sensor

The mentioned role of a baby monitor can be assigned to the model due to the presence of a motion detector and two-way audio communication on board. By configuring the appropriate settings, an automatic notification is sent to the owner of the webcam when motion is detected in the frame. Such a functional device a priori cannot cost a little, so the price tag for the model is able to weed out some potential buyers. They can be recommended to pay attention to a simpler version of the camera with a Wi-Fi module represented by the D-Link DCS-2132L.
