I got this dehumidifier to combat excessive humidity in a house with clay walls and no ventilation during winter. In the first two days of use, the humidity dropped from a critical 75% to a tolerable 65%. Further use over two weeks didn't result in a significant decrease below 65%. Despite the stated capacity of 16 liters, it actually extracts 2-3 liters per day. One thing I didn't consider in advance is that the doors to the living rooms are quite often opened, so this dehumidifier essentially works for the entire house, not just one room, which is worth considering when choosing its capacity.
