Computherm Q3

The basic electronically controlled model from the Hungarian brand Computherm is very easy to learn and operate. To work with it, it is enough to set the temperature value on the display, which will be maintained in the room in automatic mode.

Intuitive controls

On the discreet light body of the device, there was a place for a monochrome screen, which displays temperature readings, and three control keys. The “+” and “-” buttons are responsible for setting a certain temperature in 0.5 °C increments, and the mechanical slider below them switches the thermostat from frost protection mode to heating mode and vice versa.

Small hysteresis

Out of the box thermostat sensitivity is ±0.2°С. If necessary, its level can be raised to 0.1°C. In this case, the boiler will have to be included in the work more often. By the way, the model is very versatile, because Computherm Q3 is supported by the vast majority of modern heating and air conditioning appliances.

Nutrition

The device is powered from a 24/230 V network, and 2 AA batteries are responsible for saving the heating settings. It is recommended to use a two-wire cable as wiring. To mount the thermostat on the wall, its delivery includes dowels and self-tapping screws.

Temperature maintenance

The model is more suitable for rooms where it is required to maintain a constant temperature without the need for programming. Therefore, if the priority is the possibility of a subtle change in temperature during the day, we recommend that you pay attention to the older version of the thermostat with Hungarian ancestry represented by Computherm Q7.

Helpful advice. It is recommended to install the thermostat at a distance of about 1.5 m from the floor. At the same time, you should avoid placing the device near windows, doors, heat sources, in drafts and in places where direct sunlight can reach.
