It is distinguished by its large capacity (useful volume 50 liters), while the Xtreme family has even more capacious versions - 66 and 94 liters. The container is recommended for use at campsites, during long outings in nature, and can also be useful in case of force majeure (refrigerator breakdown, long power outages).

The Coleman 52 QT Xtreme thermobox is notable for its thick insulating layer of polyurethane foam (available both in the body and in the lid), therefore, together with cold accumulators, it is capable of maintaining the initial low temperature of the contents for up to 120 hours (an average of 4 to 5 days). For ease of use, a drain valve is provided, which will make it much easier to get rid of liquid in the working chamber. There are also a pair of side handles for carrying, a lid with latches for increased tightness and reduced heat loss. Separately, it is worth mentioning the presence of four cup holders.
