How to Choose BathtubA guide to choosing comfortable and durable bathtub based on its purpose and the features of the space
good model, like it
24 September 2013
Not a bad bathtub, even though the manufacturer is Ukraine, it has performed quite well, nothing terrible, it has served for a year, the acrylic hasn't yellowed, everything is intact and not scratched.
i'll say right away, Ukrainian-made; it's really Ukrainian))) Anyone who has seen at least approximately what an acrylic bath looks like from the inside will notice that in the Ukrainian version, it's some kind of clay and straw inside, whereas the Kolo Polish one is almost the same as the outside, just without the coating, which is a bit alarming ((( But that's just one aspect. My bath has been standing for a year already, and I don't see anything inside, and everything is fine so far. The bath is quite big and spacious for the money; the price includes both the legs and the bath itself, which is important since the price is 1600 UAH and it's almost a complete set, except for the front panel, which is surprisingly cheap at 700 UAH. I got it for my old rectangular Kolo bath, and the front panel cost me 1000 UAH. The model is good; there's a place to put shampoo bottles and a seat, which is important—a very successful feature—especially when you have a small child.
about what they're saying, that you can install on brick drywall, it's all nonsense. I have experience with such installations. You place the bathtub on bricks, tile it, and everything seems fine when you just take a shower—it might wobble a bit, but that's it. But when you fill it with hot water for the first time, it expands, and all the tiles in front will start to fall off, so you can forget about the idea of installing it any other way than on legs...
