Reference Accuracy

The model is the flagship of the line of kitchen scales of the German brand Caso. It differs not only in the original design, but also in the increased accuracy of measurements (scale division 0.5 grams). The scale reacts to products from 1 gram, and consistently high weighing rates are maintained even when working with heavy objects (maximum weight 5 kg).

Harmony of metal and glass

Case Caso B5 is made of metallic plastic. The base has rubber feet for good grip on the tabletop. The working surface is made of glass. The main design feature of the scales is a lifting metal frame, on which a large LED display with blue backlight is placed.

In the operating mode, the screen is located above the weighed products: the values do not block objects or containers on the platform, the weighing results are clearly visible both in low kitchen lighting and in bright sunlight.

Convenient and easy operation

The device turns on automatically: just lift the frame. To turn off, you can return the display to its original position or wait for the automatic shutdown, which occurs after approximately 3 minutes of inactivity.

Of the basic functions in Caso B5 there is tare compensation and the ability to select units of measurement (grams or ounces). For these purposes, there are two touch buttons next to the screen.

Valuable assistant in the kitchen

Scales from 6 batteries or AAA accumulators work. Two power supplies are needed for the operation of the screen (installed in the frame), and the rest are for direct weighing (the compartment is located under the case). In the event of a discharge, separate types of alerts are provided for each of the sets.

The disadvantage of Caso B5 can be considered a high price. But the original design, high measurement accuracy and quality of materials can justify such an investment. In addition, thanks to the division value of 0.5 grams, the scales can become an assistant for beginners who love molecular or modernist cuisine. But if these directions drag you out, then you will need models with even higher measurement accuracy.
