Stationary gas convector with the ability to operate on two types of gas
The Canrey CHC-3 gas convector with a power of 3000 W is ideal for heating rooms up to 30 m². It is equipped with a stainless steel burner and Italian Eurosit gas automation. The rotary regulator allows the user to set the desired temperature within the range from 18 °C to 38 °C. Thanks to the thermostat and temperature sensor, the convector maintains a stable microclimate in the room.
The device can operate on both natural gas and liquefied gas. Reconfiguration from one type of fuel to another is performed by replacing the injectors of the main and pilot burners (nozzles are included). When methane is used, gas consumption is no more than 0.33 m3/h, and when operating on propane, consumption will be more economical.
Installation and assembly of a gas convector
The convector is equipped with a closed combustion chamber, which means that the air for combustion is taken from outside, and the flue gases are discharged outside. This allows not to affect the quality of the air inside the room. For installation, it is necessary to drill a hole with a diameter of 150 mm for a coaxial chimney. Connection to the gas main or propane cylinder is carried out through a nipple with a G 1/2 thread, located on the right side of the device.
Model names and equipment
Please note that the manufacturer uses two versions of the name of this model: Canrey CHC-3 and Canrey CHS-3. Both versions may be found in online stores. There is also a version of Canrey CHC-3T, which has a built-in fan for intensive air circulation, which speeds up the heating of the room. This version is a little more expensive and requires connection to a 230 V network, unlike the standard model, which does not depend on the availability of electricity.
