The pride of the binoculars from Canon is the optical image stabilization system, which effectively compensates for hand shake during observation of the objects in question.

Stabilization

The stabilizer is a special prism that, when vibration is detected, deflects the light beam in the right direction in a fraction of a second, thus providing a clear picture. Physically, it is located directly between the lens group and the Porro prism, and the stub activation button is located on the top of the binocular body. The stabilizer is powered by one CR123A battery, the charge of which lasts for 5-6 hours of use (depending on the ambient temperature).

Field alignment

The optical design of the device includes lenses for leveling the image field. These elements are designed to combat distortion and curvature of the field, which at a distance of 1 km to the object of observation has a diameter of about 115 m. In simple words, the lenses allow you to see the surrounding space in its natural form.

Lens coating

To minimize the appearance of glare and stray light, the optical elements of the binoculars are coated with a special coating called Super Spectra. Its parallel function is to increase the contrast of the image and provide natural colour reproduction, with which binoculars have no problems at all.

clear picture

Among models with a stabilizer on board, the Canon 8x25 IS is the lightest and most affordable representative. With it, you can completely forget about a tripod, admiring a clear picture in far-off eyepieces from a minimum focus distance of 3.5 m. The only thing that needs to be done for effective operation of the device is the timely replacement of batteries.
