Multiple modes for different areas
The photoepilator has a curved shape that repeats the curves of the body, and a delicate colour combination of white and lilac. Outwardly, it resembles an ordinary epilator — small in size and not too weighty. But in fact, epilation with it is not so painful, and over time, the hairs practically stop growing and become thinner and lighter. The model is suitable for removing unwanted hair on almost the entire body: on the legs, arms, face, underarms and in the bikini area. However there are no separate nozzles for different zones — the standard one is designed for all areas.
But you can customize the modes. Firstly, these are several levels of intensity, including a delicate one, which is recommended for beginners and when treating delicate areas. Secondly, these are two modes responsible for the flash frequency. Glide mode increases the flash rate for fast and efficient epilation of large areas. For example, the procedure on both legs will take about 10 minutes. There is also a spot mode with a single flash, which provides more precise exposure to small areas of the body.
Durability and safety
In addition to efficiency, Braun also focuses on safety: the photoepilator is equipped with two UV-protected SensoAdapt sensors that continuously read the skin tone before each flash and automatically adjust the intensity. According to the manufacturer, clinical trials have proven that the procedure is safe and virtually painless.
The lamp life is 300,000 flashes, which is 20% more than the previous Silk-expert 3 IPL BD3001, BD3005 and BD3006 models.
