Thank you everyone for the reviews!!! Thanks to all who shared their opinions, I chose Braun. Very satisfied. You can immediately tell it’s German quality. There’s no need to add water during cooking, as it's designed so that it doesn’t run out. The trays are also deep enough, and so far nothing has spilled. If you have large vegetables that don’t fit in the lower compartment (as mentioned here before), you can simply cut them. Very easy to use, easy to clean. Not transparent, but reliable and you don't worry if you drop it. The plastic is sturdy. In short, I recommend it! My friend recommended this steamer to me, she works at Eldorado. I criticized its appearance and the fact that there's no option to add more water (I wanted the Tefal Vitamince). After reading everything about steamers online, I realized that this one is the best. Even on the steamer lovers' website, the photo on the home page features the BRAUN FS20!!! I ordered it online for 555 UAH, while in all electronics supermarkets it costs 689. Only at AUCHAN (if I had seen it there first, I would have bought it) it's 20 UAH cheaper, considering I had to pay for delivery. On November 17, 2011, this miracle became my best helper in the kitchen!!! My husband is endlessly happy because now he always gets a fresh, healthy dinner!!! Today I made an omelet in it (I bought a 1-liter plastic container at Auchan, its bottom is concave, probably designed for steamers, so steam can easily pass through. And you can use it in the lower bowl when cooking in the upper one since you have to put the tray on top of the lower bowl, you can't put the black bowl inside the lower!!!), I beat 2 eggs, poured them into the container, added half an onion sliced into half-rings on top, and placed it in the steamer for 15 minutes without even adding salt. It rose so well, was so tasty and tender!!! You can't make one like that on a skillet. And for lunch, I put washed chicken breasts for 30 minutes. If you knew how juicy and tender they were!!!! Usually, the breast dries out when cooking, but not in this steamer. No foam to skim off with a slotted spoon, or checking if it’s done. After cooking, there was chicken broth in the tray, which I strained. eVERYTHING IS PERFECT! they're not there!! use Braun MultiQuick FS 20 month or more i recommend it should buy |
