Rangefinder and inclinometer in one bottle

Bosch PLR 50 C can take direct measurements and indirect calculations (according to Pythagoras) of length and height, as well as calculate area and volume by adding and multiplying any of the 10 values that are in the device’s memory. Measurements can be made using one of the three available points of reference: the rear edge of the case, the leading edge, or a retractable leg that allows measurements to be taken from a corner. The device is equipped with a tilt sensor, so it can replace the inclinometer and spirit level. With it, it is convenient to measure angles (for example, when installing flights of stairs or inclined sewers), as well as to expose large household appliances (like refrigerators and washing machines) perfectly level on the horizon.

Touch screen, Bluetooth and other "chips"

The bright colour display makes it easy to read information in any light. The device is controlled by touching the screen. The rangefinder has a built-in help function that shows step by step in what sequence to perform actions to measure certain parameters. The received data and calculation results can be transferred via Bluetooth to smartphones and tablets (a special application can be installed on equipment running on Android or iOS).

The rangefinder is powered by three AAA batteries or accumulators. The charge is enough for a huge number of measurements — up to 10,000.

Indoor device

For harsh men working on a construction site, the Bosch PLR 50 C is probably too “delicate” device (after all, it has a touch screen that you can’t poke with a finger in a glove). But for those who work indoors and treat technology with care, this rangefinder is perfect. Most of all, it will appeal to users who constantly take numerous measurements and need a measuring device that can immediately “add” all the data to the phone’s memory by “hooking up” to it via Bluetooth.

Model features:
  • Area/volume measurement
  • Indirect measurement (Pythagorean theorem)
  • Add/subtract function
  • Single/continuous measurement
  • Memory function (last 10 measurements)
  • Tilt measurement function (up to 360°)
