Power is above all
The Bosch GSA 1100 E saw is a powerful (1100 W) and large tool for serious work. It can cut boards up to 230 mm thick, square timber up to 150x150 mm and steel pipes up to 130 mm in diameter. Enough power to cut brick and aerated concrete blocks (if you use the appropriate equipment). Recommended applications for this saw are construction and demolition work.
Nothing to complain about
The body of the tool is durable and comfortable. It is rubberized on the front. The rubber insert prevents the hand from slipping off and absorbs vibration well. For work in dimly lit places, the illumination of the working area is provided (for some reason, the backlight LED does not turn off). The case even has a special metal hook, for which the saw can be hung on a ladder or fence. Thanks to the long cable (4 m), you can work not only near the socket.
The saw is sold with a case and two interchangeable blades: one for metal, the other for wood. The manufacturer recommends using only original files, but any other files with standard and widely used L-shank will work.
Saw for professional builders
This saw, like the rest of the “blue” Bosch tool, is very expensive, because it is intended for professionals who saw and cut every day for several hours in a row. For everyday tasks and the leisurely construction of something with your own hands, the far less expensive “green” saw Bosch PSA 700 E 06033A7020 with a power of 710 W is better suited.
