LCD display
The Bosch GHG 660 LCD is an excellent heat gun for soldering plastic, defrosting frozen pipes and shrinking heat shrink hoses. Its main difference from other units of this kind is the presence of an LCD display. It displays the current temperature and the mode of blowing the surface. Smooth adjustment allows you to set the temperature from 50 to 660 degrees in steps of 10 degrees. In the memory of the device, four parameters are additionally set for quick temperature setting - 250, 350, 450 and 550 degrees.
Pollution filters
On the sides of the hair dryer there are two holes for cooling the gearbox. They contain filters that protect the internal hardware from coarse dust. These filters are quickly removed and cleaned (they are reusable). From overheating and breakdown of the gearbox, the heat gun protects the fuse.
Cold air function
Like the Metabo HE 20-600, the Bosch hair dryer can be used as a stationary device. For this, the back surface is designed flat and stable, and the cooling holes are located on the side. Also, the model is equipped with a cold air function, which allows you to quickly cool the hot part. For transportation of the unit, a branded case is provided. Such a “fancy” heat gun has a rather considerable cost, but at the same time it is powerful (2300 W) and performant.
