Two years ago, I opened a small auto repair shop. I rented a couple of spacious bays and, with my partner, we started working hard. Within a year, we had already gained a steady clientele and brought in my nephew for additional help. To offer a complete service and spend less time on the dirty work, we introduced a new service to our clients – car washing. It's inexpensive, done quickly; the only issue is drying, as we haven't figured out the best way to do it. We bought this Bosch washer specifically for semi-professional, occasional use like this.
It costs not much and works quite well. The package includes a standard three-position nozzle, a foaming nozzle, a brush, and a 90-degree swivel nozzle. In fact, almost all the work is done with the 3-in-1 nozzle. It provides a powerful high-pressure pinpoint jet, sprays water in a low-pressure cone, and replaces a dirt blaster. Overall, everything is well-made and thoughtfully designed from an engineering perspective. Additionally, the washer is quite economical both in terms of water usage (regular consumption is 200-250 liters per hour) and energy consumption (the motor is one kilowatt). It delivers very decent pressure: typically around 90, and up to a maximum of 120 bar. It weighs only 5.5 kg and easily rolls on wheels. It folds neatly, and the entire cord can be hung on the built-in holder.
Bosch could have offered a longer warranty. I think 12 months for a washer is a bit short. The noise level is also annoying. I wouldn't say the volume is deafening, no. It doesn't hum louder than others, maybe even quieter, but the tone is somewhat unpleasant. I understand this is a matter of personal taste, but still.
