High performance Quick-Cut system

The Bosch AHS 50-20 Li 2.5 Ah electric cordless hedge trimmer belongs to the “green” home series of DIY tools, which is used from time to time as needed. The device is best adapted both for the formation and trimming of hedges, and for curly processing of free-standing bushes. The Bosch Quick-Cut technology solution and the built-in anti-blocking system determine high productivity, continuous operation and clean cuts in garden greens. The model received long knives of 500 mm with a tooth opening of 20 mm, which can move idle at a frequency of 2600 strokes / min. Despite such a step of the blades of the knives, which assumes a thickness of the cut branch of 20 mm, the section of the knife at the tip allows you to cut thicker branches with a diameter of up to 25 mm.

Three positions of front start buttons

The electric motor is powered by a complete 18 V battery PBA 18V 2.5Ah, which is supplied with the AL 1830 CV charger. The battery pack is not installed in a traditional socket, as in related models, but simply fixed on an open contact pad. This made it possible to generally facilitate the design of the tool, the weight of which is only 2.5 kg. The manufacturer does not directly indicate the operating time from a fully charged battery, noting only that its charge is enough to cut 200 m2 of a green hedge. This is made possible by the intelligent Syneon Chip, which optimally regulates energy consumption, which ensures long-term operation of the electric trimmer. The fast battery charging time is also impressive — just 60 minutes. With a noise of 71 dB, the model works noticeably quieter than its counterparts and has an insignificant vibration level of 2.5 m/s². The tool is equipped with a lock against accidental activation, 3-position front handle start buttons, a hand guard and a special bar tip to protect the knives from breaking when cutting low-growing branches.
