Pneumatic model of the famous Makarov pistol from 1949. Fully metallic body with a fixed slide, polymer grip with distinctive coloring and texture. Shooting from this pistol can be conducted both in double action and with pre-cocking of the hammer. How to choose an air pistol?Recommendations for choosing and using an air pistol for professional growth and sports entertainment
Model overview based on user reviews
The BORNER PM49 Makarov is a gas-cylinder air pistol that replicates the design of the Makarov combat pistol. Lightweight and easy to handle, it features a smooth fixed barrel and a magazine capacity of 17 rounds. Users appreciate its accuracy and quality of sight, with one cylinder providing enough gas for at least 100 shots. However, some users have reported issues with the seals not holding gas, even after repairs, which raises concerns about its reliability. Despite this, the pistol is generally well-received for its design and shooting performance, making it a suitable choice for both beginners and experienced shooters.

Cons

good model, liked it

An excellent pistol, probably suitable for anyone who has ever seen or heard the name Makarov, just a super weapon. I also shot with the real thing, I know what it is))) I recommend it to everyone!!!
another copy of Makarov, I honestly didn’t know which one to choose, there are already so many manufacturers making them that it’s just wow... at least off the top of my head it’s: KVS, Baikal, SAS Makarov... and that’s just what came to mind... in fact, I wasn’t chasing anything beyond natural, the main thing for me was light weight, I didn’t worry too much about the plastic handle, in fact, these are all little things for me, the main thing is the quality of shooting, they are all approximately the same in all respects, the same thing The Baikal is heavier, more expensive, has a magazine with fewer bullets, and is actually a little better made. In general, I liked the Borner, first of all, for its accuracy of fire, the quality of the sight was made really super, and was initially sighted, the tank has 100 bullets, which is more than the others...
as for the disadvantages, I’ll just say if you buy a thing and want to immediately look for the disadvantages, then why are you buying at all??? It’s just funny when they write negative things about their things, they will serve you like that.... it gives them its own good energy.
a model with serious flaws

Design
The seals don’t hold gas. I bought a second clip, same thing, bought a repair kit, all to no avail. I sent one in for repair, same thing. Reliability is crap from Izhevsk.

Like its real combat prototype, the BORNER PM49 Makarov is easy to use and reliable.

Full similarity

This toy can be easily confused with a combat PM. There are practically no external differences. The same blued steel, safety lever, movable trigger guard and Soviet stars on the plastic grip plates.

Unpretentious mechanism

Unlike the real PM BORNER PM49 Makarov is designed to fire 4.5 mm balls. It can shoot both self-cocked and pre-cocked, which increases accuracy, since the trigger is quite tight.

The design uses a smooth fixed barrel without the Blowback effect. But the aiming mechanism is adjustable. Clip and barrel are placed in the handle, but separately. The balloon is inserted from the side under the sliding pad, which eventually begins to play. The store enters in the same way as on the combat original, from below and quite tightly. Just don’t drop it on the sand, and before installing the cylinder, be sure to lubricate the cuff.

Shooting and economy

One cylinder is enough for at least 100 shots with maximum impact. The minimum number of seals of an unrealistically thin magazine reduces gas consumption. Above average! Muzzle velocity may not seem high, but 120 m / s is enough to shoot beer bottles from a distance of 10 metres.

The clip is designed for 17 balls, but you can easily insert another one. At the same time, their use with copper and zinc coating is allowed.

In general, a pistol for its money is very good and will satisfy both experienced shooters and beginners.
