The Blaupunkt company positions the device as a kitchen radio for listening to music while cooking and eating. This is an inexpensive, easy to use and limited in functionality device with a rather modest power of 1.6 W. The only audio source here is the radio - there is no way to connect to other devices. The radio is equipped with an FM tuner with a PLL digital synthesizer and a memory for 20 radio stations.
Among its advantages are the simplest possible radio setup, automatic search functions and saving of available radio stations. For control, the Blaupunkt KR12SL case has a convenient panel with buttons, rotary knobs and a display. The screen backlight automatically dims between 11:00 pm and 4:59 am, or can be turned off manually. Functions such as a clock, an alarm clock and a timer that will track the duration of cooking will be useful while cooking.
The radio is compact in size, lightweight (about 700 g) and will fit into any kitchen interior. It can be placed on a table thanks to the folding legs in the cabinet, or installed under a kitchen cabinet using the included mounting kit. The device is powered from the mains, but in the event of a power outage it can switch to autonomous operation, which requires two AA batteries.
