No extra chips

The Blauberg Bravo 100 German ancestral axial exhaust fan is a classic entry-level model with the lowest capacity in the range at 101 m³/h. This is a good value that distinguishes the model in this category. The device is designed for wall or ceiling installation in an air duct with a mounting diameter of 100 mm, which determines the minimum required draft to remove unpleasant odours from the room. The device, in addition to the traditional check valve, does not have additional equipment and you should not expect miracles from it.

Looking for a volume control

At a standard engine speed of 2300 rpm, running on rolling bearings, the fan consumes 14 W of power, which is quite a lot for such a little thing. The manufacturer assures about the use of a silent impeller in the model, but, apparently, its aerodynamics and 9 blades were not enough to reduce the noise threshold below 35 dB. According to this indicator, the fan among classmates, it must be admitted, "grazes the rear." The IP34 splash water rating makes it a controversial solution for bathrooms where shower jet could accidentally hit the unit. Therefore, it is better to install the device in the kitchen or in a separate bathroom.

Do you want lace? You are welcome!

Considering the functionality and technical parameters of the device, we can say that, despite minor shortcomings, it will fully cope with the tasks assigned to it. A more advanced model, the Blauberg Bravo 100 ST, with the same specs but with an off timer and a pull cord switch, will cost customers about $30 more.

Model modifications:
  • Bravo 100 model — no additional features or functionality
  • Model Bravo 100 S — has a pull cord switch
  • Model Bravo 100 T — has an off timer
  • Model Bravo 100 ST — has a pull cord switch and an off timer
  • Model Bravo 100 H — has an off timer and a humidity sensor
  • Model Bravo 100 SH — has a pull cord switch, an off timer and a humidity sensor
  • Model Bravo 100 IR — has an off timer and a motion sensor
