Model overview based on user reviews
The Blanco Panor 60 514486 kitchen sink is praised for its unusual and harmonious design, featuring a high protruding side that adds an exotic touch. Made from a composite of ceramics, it boasts a high-strength hydrophobic enamel that resists scratches and minimizes water noise. Users appreciate its aesthetic appeal, especially when paired with similar-toned kitchen appliances. While the white gloss can show grease stains, these are easily cleaned. However, stainless steel utensils may leave marks that require special cleaning products. The sink's durability and resistance to dirt and dyes are highlighted, although its ceramic nature requires careful handling compared to stainless steel. Overall, it is considered a beautiful and durable addition to any kitchen, despite its higher price point.
Pros
Cons
A ceramic sink in the kitchen looks unusual, but it's something :) Panor also has a completely chic shape that sets the mood for the whole kitchen. There's something so beautifully-homely-rustic about it. However, you need to plan for a sink of this shape during the design stage! Fortunately, I found it just before the kitchen went into production, and we urgently changed the size of the lower cabinet. My husband was against ceramics, but Blanco promises that the surface is durable. There really are no scratches from knives and such. We haven't dropped anything heavy yet, though))) In this regard, stainless steel is naturally more reliable. However, ceramic does not absorb dirt and dyes at all, which is a huge advantage for a white sink. the most beautiful sink I've ever seen :) the price is good too ;) |
When, when discussing our future kitchen, my wife announced that she wanted a ceramic sink, I was even taken aback at first. Can ceramic be a suitable material for a kitchen sink? It turned out that it could. There are, however, some nuances that emerge already in the process of operation. But they, let's say, do not make the weather. In short, we have been using such a sink for six months now and so far it is only pleasing. Although I remember how much money I had to pay for it ...)) It looks rather unusual, and the installation method itself, which involves a high protruding side, also adds to the exotic appearance. But in general, the view is quite harmonious, it is clear that good designers have worked on it. For me, the most important thing is what my wife says, and in her opinion the sink is very comfortable and beautiful. But it may not please the pure and piercing white color. It goes well with a similar tone glass ceramic hob and a snow-white refrigerator. I was very afraid for the strength of such a beautiful design, but it turned out that in vain. This white gloss turned out to be a special high-strength hydrophobic enamel, which is applied to a pre-hardened faience base. In short, this is not just a ceramic ingot, but really high technology. As a result, it is almost impossible to scratch the sink, at least we did not manage to do this in six months. Almost no sound of falling water. There are splashes from a strong jet, but a weak one falls almost silently. White hydrophobic gloss still gets stained with grease, making even small dark spots quite visible. However, these stains can be cleaned without any problem. Stainless steel cutlery or pots can leave a characteristic "metallic" mark on the enamel when rubbed vigorously. A special and costly cleaning product is needed to remove such marks. |
