The model was introduced by Blackview in 2022 and is mainly aimed at users who need a simple and inexpensive home tablet for watching movies and various video content, surfing the Internet, video chatting and other similar daily tasks. The device is dressed in a metal case with a thickness of 8.9 mm and weighs 536 g.

The Blackview Tab 7 tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280x800, while the pixel density is only 149 ppi - this is a very, very small indicator, as for a modern models. Dual speaker systems are responsible for sound reproduction. As for the hardware "stuffing", it also fully corresponds to the low-cost positioning of the device. So, “under the hood” there is a 4-core Unisoc Tiger T310 central processor, PowerVR GE8300 is responsible for the graphics, and the amount of RAM is limited to 3 GB. An interesting feature was the possibility of software expansion of memory up to 5 GB. The device also boasts an expanded set of communication tools, including GSM and 4G (LTE) modules. As for autonomy, the device can work up to 7 hours in web browsing mode.
