The vertical steam cleaner (steam mop) from the Black & Decker brand belongs to convenient models for daily cleaning. This mop is perfect for daily wet cleaning and disinfection of premises. It is equipped with a small 380 mL water tank, but it heats up to steam in just 30 seconds. The Black & Decker FSM13E10 steam cleaner has only 2 nozzles - a large one for cleaning the floor and a fabric one, which are easily removed and replaced, and without contact with dirt.

To do this, fabric nozzles are equipped with special labels, which are enough to step on to remove them from the brush. Built-in overheating protection - the steam cleaner turns off when the voltage is too high and the energy drops. The handle is movable, which allows you to reach such hard-to-reach areas, such as the surface under upholstered furniture. A huge plus of the model is its low weight - only 2 kg, while the cord is long - as much as 4 m, which is very decent for a small and economical model.

Modular design

The body of the American Black & Decker brand steam mop consists of three elements: the steam generator itself, the handle and the floor cleaning head. The total weight of 1.8 kg and compactness contribute to both easy transportation and storage, and comfortable operation. The steam generator can be used separately as a hand-held device for cleaning various surfaces.

In addition to the traditional rectangular microfibre for floors, the Black & Decker FSMH13E10 is equipped with 9 more nozzles, including a carpet glider, a window and mirror scraper, a textile pad, a steam jet nozzle and a set of five different sizes and shapes of brushes. Thanks to them, the functionality of the mop is not limited to the care of floors and carpets. The device allows you to wash glass and walls, remove dirt from tile joints, clean and refresh clothes.

Manoeuvrable, ergonomic and moderately powerful

The Black&Decker FSMH13E10 Floor Cleaning Head has a 180 degree swivel base. It makes it easier to clean floors near skirting boards, in corners and under furniture. The microfibre is fixed with Velcro and can be washed up to 100 times in the washing machine.

Thanks to the 1300-watt heater, the model is ready for steam generation in half a minute after switching on, providing a steam temperature of 110 °C. The built-in reservoir holds up to 380 mL of water, which is enough for 11 minutes of continuous operation.

The disadvantage of a steam mop is a short power cord (4 m). Otherwise, Black&Decker FSMH13E10 is a good representative of the middle price segment with versatile cleaning and disinfection capabilities.
