The BF Goodrich brand is one of the subsidiaries of the French tyre giant Michelin. Tyre tyres under the sign of this "daughter" are produced at the factories of the parent company, dispersed in different parts of the European continent.

original design

The second iteration of the BF Goodrich G-Force Winter is easily recognizable from a distance. It is given out by the original design of the sidewalls, the inscriptions on which are made not in a circle, but perpendicular to the plane. The tyre also received a redesigned tread pattern — having lost the central rib, it is littered in the middle of the treadmill with diamond-shaped blocks with dense cutting of sipes.

Predictability of behavior

The channels between the tread blocks effectively drain water and melted snow, thereby increasing the tyre's resistance to hydroplaning. No less strong emphasis is placed on the traction and braking characteristics of the model — the developed shoulder zones with zigzaid block siping and a ridge of macroblocks with sharp "teeth" in the central part of the tread are responsible for the predictability of the tyre's behavior on the road.

A dark horse

Strong trumps up the sleeve of the model — a high level of driving comfort, as well as a quiet and smooth ride. In 2016, the tyre was tested by specialists from the Finnish edition of Test World. In the overall standings, she rose to 17th position out of 21, but the tyre did not show obvious failures in any of the disciplines (with the exception of a sluggish response to steering turns when driving on a dry road). The model can be called a kind of “dark horse”, which does not particularly stand out from the grey mass of its peers and at the same time has balanced driving properties, taking into account the vagaries of winter weather.
