This is not just an alarm clock, but a more functional lighting device that can be used as a lamp, a clock, and a player. I placed it in the children's room, and it actually made it easier for them to get up for school; they don't fuss in the mornings and rise on time. It wakes them up with a gradually increasing flow of soft light, imitating a sunrise, and only then does a sound signal come on - I must say, a very pleasant one, as we chose nature sounds. Also, you can turn on colored lighting, or a soft "moonlight" at night, like a night light, and in the evening, create a sunset simulation if the weather doesn't allow seeing the real sunset. Plus, the kids use it to charge their phones or listen to their music on it; the speaker is quite decent and produces good sound. The control is a bit tricky, but if you figure out the app, there are many additional settings features.
