A pedigree hybrid bike from the upper echelons of electric bikes has arrived on domestic shelves straight from Italy. It belongs to the fatbike family — mountain bikes with enhanced off-road capability.

Off-Road Features

Even with the reduced tire width of up to 3 inches, the model shows confident performance on any road surface. The strength in overcoming obstacles is provided by a powerful 500-watt electric motor mounted at the rear. The motor assists in climbing steep slopes, inaccessible to typical mountain bikes, plowing through mud without fear of getting stuck in a puddle, or briskly riding uphill. Its primary mode of operation involves providing help in pedaling, the degree of which is manually set by the cyclist.

Fully Loaded

The aluminum frame with an elegant bend of tubes carries a battery with a capacity of 11 Ah with internal elements produced by Samsung. However, all the most interesting features are concentrated on the handlebars, 750 mm wide, where the lockout mechanism of the front spring-oil fork is located, as well as a bike computer with an informative LCD display, 27-speed shifters, and levers for controlling hydraulic disc brakes — "fully loaded," as befits a confident model.

No Compromises

The hybrid bike's range without intermediate charging reaches 70 km in assistant mode and about 30-35 km when manually applying the throttle. It is worth noting that the latter option is not implemented in all bike versions, as some configurations do not include a throttle lever. A slightly deterrent factor from purchasing the Benelli Fat Nerone is also its high cost. But this factor can be easily overlooked in light of the model's uncompromising off-road qualities.
