Affordable and functional hub from a Chinese brand
The new USB hub from the emerging Chinese brand BASEUS allows you to expand the capabilities of any laptop suffering from a lack of ports. At one end of the BASEUS Mirror is a USB-C plug with Power Delivery, which is slowly becoming the standard for today's laptops. In this case, we are talking about 60 W, and such a connection allows you to power even very demanding gadgets without worrying that the hub will not physically be able to get the right amount of energy from the laptop. On the other side of the case there are three USB A ports and a card reader for SD and MicroSD cards. All ports belong to the 3.2 gen1 class, so you can connect not only a conditional mouse or flash drive to them, but also more demanding devices like an external SSD.
Proper placement of all connectors
An HDMI video output huddles on the front end, which can transmit an image with a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of 30 Hz to an external monitor. In 2K or FullHD, it delivers full 60 Hz. The last in line, but not in order of importance, is the USB-C input port. This arrangement of interfaces at a distance from each other allows you to simultaneously use all connectors without worrying that the connected mouse will block the input for the flash drive, and HDMI will interfere with inserting a memory card. Given that the case is made of aluminium and the front panel is covered with glass, BASEUS Mirror turned out to be quite stylish and in terms of design is in no way inferior to more expensive analogues from official Apple partners.
