A simple-looking thermal container from AVS does more than just keep food fresh. An equally significant duty of the model is to work for heating with an increase in the temperature inside the chamber up to 65 °C.
Simple design
Structurally, the model consists of a plastic box with a volume of 24 liters for storing provisions and soft drinks, as well as a tight-fitting lid with a built-in fan and a miniature control panel. It provides two separate power supply connectors (12 V from the car's on-board network and 230 V from a household outlet) and a pair of toggle switches: choosing the type of voltage and switching the device's operating modes to cooling and heating.
Ease of transport
In terms of dimensions, the AVS CC-24NB is not a giant at all — the dimensions of the car refrigerator are 43x40x30 cm and weigh a little more than 4 kg. Accordingly, there is always a place for the model even in a small car. The folding handle, which is also assigned to the role of the locking mechanism of the top cover, contributes to the convenience of carrying the thermal container in the hands.
Condition control
The highest efficiency of the device for cooling is achieved when the box is additionally equipped with cold accumulators. Together with them, the temperature is lowered relative to the environment up to 18 °C. Another bonus in the piggy bank of the model is the sensor for monitoring the state of the car battery, which prevents it from being discharged during parking. In comparison to this, the only minus of the car refrigerator — weak lid hinges — looks unconvincing, which is why it can be safely neglected.
