The "atomic" booster Aurora Atom 18 Evolution is produced at the facilities of the well-known Chinese company CARKU, but with a east european label and a focus on our market. The number "18" in the extended model name indicates the capacity of the built-in battery — 18000 mAh.
Capacious battery
The main protagonist of the “engine compartment” equipment of the booster is a lithium-polymer battery with no memory effect and low self-discharge. It provides the launch of powerful power units with a volume of more than 5 liters in the case of gasoline engines and about 4 liters in the version with diesel engines. The starting current in this case is 300 A in nominal mode and up to 600 A in peak mode.
Advanced Defense
The model is made in a durable aluminium case that dissipates heat well. To avoid overheating when starting the car engine, the booster was equipped with a three-pin connector for connecting "crocodiles" with an additional signal temperature control pin. If the battery overheats under load, it will automatically turn off the built-in protection system.
Charging gadgets
On an everyday basis, the Aurora Atom 18 Evolution can be used as a mobile battery. The device will help charge a dead "mobile phone" through one of the two USB ports with a current of 1 A and 2 A, respectively, and will also supply energy to many of the laptops. The booster provides two outputs for 12 V and 19 V, and a set of eight laptop nozzles is included in the package for different brands of portable computers. The jump starter comes with a handy storage and carrying case.
