Gas convector of Ukrainian production

The gas convector "Zhytomyr-5", produced in the city of the same name, has a power of 4000 W and is designed for efficient heating of rooms up to 40 m². Its steel heat exchanger made of 3 mm thick sheet metal has a "double" design consisting of two chambers and three heat-transfer surfaces. An additional heat exchange section reduces heat loss and significantly improves the efficiency of the device. Thanks to this design, the efficiency of the device reaches 90%, which allows almost all the heat to be used to heat the room.

High-quality components and reliable automation

The convector is equipped with Italian gas automation SIT and micro-torch burners Polidoro. A sensor is installed on the casing of the device, which allows the thermostat to automatically maintain the desired temperature in the room. In case of abnormal situations, such as overheating, flame extinction or a drop in gas pressure, the automation automatically shuts off the fuel supply, turning off the device.

One of the main advantages of the Zhitomir-5 KNS-4 convector is the ability to operate on various types of gas fuel. At maximum power on natural gas, the device consumes 0.65 m³ of methane per hour, and when using liquefied propane, the consumption is no more than 0.24 m³/h. Nozzle sets for switching from one type of fuel to another are already included in the kit, but the replacement of nozzles should only be carried out by certified specialists.

Installation of gas convector "Atem"

The convector is installed permanently and is fixed to the wall at a height of at least 0.5 m from the floor. For installation, it is necessary to make a hole with a diameter of 230 mm for installing a telescopic pipe of the smoke-air unit, which is suitable for walls with a thickness of 240 mm to 540 mm. Thanks to the sealed combustion chamber and coaxial chimney, the device does not burn oxygen in the room, since air is taken from outside, and combustion products are thrown out.

The gas convector "Zhitomir-5" KNS-4 does not require connection to the power grid, as it is energy-independent. However, if there is a socket in the room, you can install a fan to improve heat exchange and accelerate air heating. The fan is not included in the kit, but it can be purchased in online stores that sell Atem heating equipment.
