Differs from Asus ROG Claymore in the absence of a Numpad in the kit

eSports disciplines

The Asus ROG Claymore Core is a gaming mechanical, or to be precise, a tournament keyboard. Gaming keyboards are usually called those that can simultaneously press ten keys (one for each finger). For comparison, in many cheap office keyboards, after five pressed buttons, the others are no longer read. Two hands on the keyboard are played, for example, in such esports disciplines as FIFA, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter (ordinary gamers play them with a gamepad).

extra numbers

Tournament keyboards are called shortened gaming keyboards, that is, devoid of the extreme digital block of keys (aka NumPad). The ROG Claymore Core model has connectors for connecting the numpad on the right and left (as you prefer). Separately, in our area, the numpad is not yet sold, but the version of the keyboard is sold immediately with it in the kit - ROG Claymore.

As the Steel Was Tempered

ROG Claymore Core is based on a steel plate, thanks to which the keyboard does not flex even under strong pressure. The switches are mechanical Cherry MX Black - durable, with an average pressing force and relatively quiet (although still noisier than membrane keyboards). Options with other switches (Blue, Red, Brown) are not yet available and are not expected. Of course, it was not without customizable (colour and intensity) RGB lighting.

In crowded but not mad

In addition to e-sportsmen who often travel to tournaments with their gaming devices, owners of large gaming mats can also recommend the shortened Asus ROG Claymore Core. There is often not enough space for them next to a long keyboard. Also, this keyboard will perfectly match with PCs based on Asus ROG series motherboards. The keyboard has separate hotkeys for overclocking the processor and controlling the speed of the fans.
