The laptop is a representative of the Republic Of Game line from Asus. Compactness (39x27x2.5 cm) can be considered a distinctive feature of this laptop, but at the same time the weight of the laptop is 2.66 kg.
Design
The case is made of plastic and metal, on the lid there is a pattern that vaguely resembles the skin of amphibians, and the space for the hands is covered with thin parallel lines. The coating practically does not collect prints.
The laptop is equipped with a membrane keyboard with digital and full-fledged arrow blocks. A distinctive feature is the presence of RGB backlight, which can be flexibly configured in a special application — gamers will appreciate it. The touchpad is large (105x73.5 mm), comfortable, accurately fulfills Windows 10 gestures.
Iron
The decision to equip the laptop with an Intel Core i5 7300HQ processor (Kaby Lake generation) with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz made it possible to reduce heat dissipation and, as a result, reduce throttling. Drives, traditionally for this segment, are a 1000 GB HDD and a 128 GB SSD.
Screen
The display is clearly a strong point of this laptop. It is equipped with an IPS matrix with Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which will undoubtedly appeal to every user.
The screen boasts a wide colour gamut of 100% sRGB and a brightness of 300 cd/m2, allowing it to display vivid and rich colours.
The laptop does not break records of battery life, with an average load it can work up to 4 hours.
