Unlike manual or electric toothbrushes, the Ardesto POI-MD300W irrigator performs a completely non-contact procedure that does not have a dangerous abrasive effect on the enamel. A continuous or pulsating high-pressure water jet (2.0 to 8.6 bar) effectively cleans the interdental spaces, removes soft plaque and massages the gums and tongue. The pulsation frequency (30 Hz) is chosen in such a way as to make the procedure as fast as possible, and its result of high quality. The irrigator is completed with two standard nozzles and can be used by a married couple. The capacity of the built-in reservoir (320 mL) is enough for one typical procedure (60 sec). The built-in lithium-ion battery takes 4 hours to charge and provides up to 7 days of battery life.
