APC PM6U-RS

An unusual-looking extension filter by Schneider Electric protects equipment from power surges and allows you to charge gadgets via two USB ports. They are accompanied by a trio of sockets on the front panel, and another trio of sockets is located on the side.

Status indication

On the front of the model’s case, among other things, there are several status indicator lights: “Protection is working”, “Power overload” and “There is grounding”. They do not need additional explanation - all the inscriptions speak for themselves. The maximum energy dissipated by the filter is 1836 J. This figure indicates a sudden impulse surge in the power grid, which the model can handle without compromising its own performance.

Invisible cable

The length of the APC PM6U-RS's own power cable is 2 m. When installing the surge protector on the wall, the cable can be laid in a niche around the perimeter of the lower part of the model's body, and it is possible to bring it out either to the left side or to the right. Also on one of the side faces there is an auto-fuse button, which ensures quick restoration of the operation of electrical appliances in the event of failures.

The total connection power of 2300 W clearly hints at the focus of the network filter on interaction in conjunction with computer equipment. APC PM6U-RS is used to connect a PC, monitor, external speakers, printer, desk lamp and other peripherals. And even though it costs a little more than its direct competitors, the equipment with two USB ports, high-quality assembly and reliable equipment protection certainly correspond to the funds spent on purchasing the model.
