Alcatel HH42CV compact router can be used for main or backup Internet access without the need for installation work on laying a twisted pair cable. It supports operation in LTE networks of the 4th category with data transfer rates up to 150 Mbps when downloading and up to 50 Mbps when sending data.

A galaxy of connections

The router simultaneously distributes wireless Internet to 32 client devices. Plus, the model has two LAN ports and an RG-11 connector for connecting a DECT phone. The presence of VoLTE support makes the router an attractive solution for organizing work in remote offices.

Connecting external LTE antennas

At the bottom of the Alcatel HH42CV case , two round plugs are visible, under which connectors are hidden for connecting external LTE antennas. The router receives power from a standard household outlet with a voltage of 230 V (through the appropriate block). You can dig into the model settings through an intuitive web interface or the Alcatel Wi-Fi Link mobile application.

Connection redundancy

In the software arsenal of the router there is an interesting function "Connection reservation". It allows you to configure the main and backup communication channels. For example, wired Internet is the basis, and LTE connection is a reserve. In the event of a connection break, the main connection will automatically change to a backup one, and when it is restored, everything automatically returns to normal. Both mobile and wired Internet serve as the main and backup channels.
