A company with German roots in the AL-KO pedigree offers several types of auger snow blowers for removing snow from paths and other perimeters of private households. The AL-KO SnowLine 560 model is the most popular among internal combustion engine solutions.

Separate control

The snow blower, which has at its disposal a powerful engine with six harnessed "horses", does not make much noise during operation and consumes fuel economically (about 1.6 liters of gasoline per hour). The engine sets the speed of rotation of the toothed auger and transmits torque to the wheels, and both actions are performed separately: the operation of the auger is controlled by the left hand of the snowplow operator, and the movement is controlled by the right. In addition, the “driver” of the snowplow is allocated a gearshift knob that allows you to adjust the speed of the wheel drive thanks to 5 forward gears and 2 reverse gears.

far ejection

When passing a snow obstacle course, the bucket pushes a snow mass 56 cm wide and up to 51 cm high to a reinforced steel auger. Subsequently, the snow is thrown away through the discharge chute to a distance of up to 15 m. This can be useful in cases where you plan to use the snow blower on large areas so that you do not have to clean the already removed snow in the second round.

Manual start

The engine is started to work by means of a manual starter: the operator of the machine pulls the cable, which scrolls the shaft and gives the motor the necessary initial impulse. A decompression valve helps to simplify starting at significant sub-zero temperatures. The AL-KO SnowLine 560 alone can replace a small team of windscreen wipers with snow shovels, and it's worth paying close attention to the model.
