In my opinion, the chainsaw is excellent for personal needs. I'm completely satisfied. Purchased in 2011. Doesn't get used often. Just to saw firewood for personal needs or fell a tree, and so on. I didn't take it for work, so I don't know how it would handle that or how long it would last. There are no critical shortcomings. Still, the saw was not professional grade. Therefore, everything is fine, as for a saw of this level. use AL-KO BKS 4040 113186 month or more i recommend it should buy |

Lightweight household chainsaw
The AL-KO BKS 3835 chainsaw is one of the most affordable models in the line of petrol tools from AL-KO. It is equipped with a relatively lightweight body made of aluminium alloy and a 37 cc engine with a power of 1.63 hp. To supply fuel to the combustion chamber, a carburetor from Walbro is used, which is famous for its quality and is widely used by manufacturers of chainsaws, trimmers and other garden tools. The design of the carburetor ensures regulation of the quantity and quality of the fuel mixture, ensuring reliable engine operation in various conditions. It also ensures easy starting and stable engine operation both at idle and at full power. The air entering the cylinder undergoes two-stage filtration, including a centrifugal cleaning system, which helps extend engine life.
Advantages and disadvantages
The saw comes with an Oregon chain and a 350mm saw blade. An efficient engine capable of maintaining high speeds, combined with a high-quality and sharply sharpened chain, provides high sawing performance and allows you to cut materials of different structures and densities, including living branches and well-dried wood. The saw's anti-vibration system, which includes multiple springs and dampers, effectively absorbs vibration and shock, reducing stress on the user's hands. The only drawback can be considered small play in some of the plastic parts of the body, despite the overall high quality of the material, which may slightly reduce the overall impression of this instrument.
In general, the AL-KO BKS 3835 chainsaw is an excellent solution for those who need to periodically trim trees in the garden, cut branches or prepare small volumes of firewood for a boiler or fireplace.

I've replaced the drive sprocket several times, bought a new bar and chains. I also replaced the filter in the fuel tank. I bought everything at the market; it was more expensive at the service center. Also, the spark plug broke down once. There were no issues purchasing a new one, unlike some who write about having faced such problems. I went to the first service center, and they had a suitable spark plug.
I buy gasoline for it at a regular gas station. For the fuel mix oil, I've used AL-KO and Stihl, but recently I've been buying Oleo-Mac. I use different oils for chain lubrication, usually choosing based on price, looking for cheaper options.
If someone I know or a neighbor asks me to cut something, I don't hesitate and do it myself. I don't let anyone else use the chainsaw.
I'm satisfied with the chainsaw. When I bought it, my expectations for its performance were lower, and I was prepared for that. The seller praised this model, but I was skeptical. It turned out to be great. The saw handles its tasks completely. It's unexpectedly satisfying, making it twice as pleasing. I hope it continues to work well.
