Model overview based on user reviews
The AEG OMNI 300 KIT1 is a versatile multi-tool praised for its potential to become a universal tool due to its compatibility with various removable heads, such as a saw, jigsaw, and drill, which are sold separately. Users appreciate its functionality for small tasks like tile trimming and woodwork, although it may not excel with wet wood. The tool is comfortable to hold, but the constant need to press the start button can be inconvenient. Attachment changes are not as swift as desired, and the LED light's direct shine might not be ideal for all angles. Despite these minor drawbacks, the tool performs well for its intended functions and offers a good grip, making it a reliable choice for small-scale projects.
Pros
Cons
Went to the "Builder" shopping center for a Makita, but it turned out to be the last one without a box and attachments. The seller recommended the AEG OMNI 300 PB (MT). Held it in my hands and compared it with the Makita, overall I liked it. Immediately noticed the start button, you have to keep pressing it constantly, but I think you can get used to it. I've now tried my AEG on tile trimming, it seems okay for small jobs. Tried it on wood (even wet), the result wasn't terrible, but I expected more, most likely due to the attachment. The kit includes a saw attachment with fine teeth. I think a coarser tooth would cut better accordingly. And the vibration in the hands is felt too, probably like all renovators. Feels good in the hand. It is very encouraging that for the OMNI 300-PB there are removable heads - devices (sold separately) such as a saw, a jigsaw, a drill and 4 more, which will make it the main universal tool. Changing attachments is not as fast as we would like. The backlight still seems ridiculous because it shines directly, but I find it more convenient when the nozzles are installed at 90 degrees. In pitch darkness the effect will be :-))). use AEG OMNI 300 KIT1 less than month |
