Introduced in 2018, the AEG branded oven is characterized by low energy consumption (A++ class). In convection cooking mode, the appliance consumes 0.52 kW per cycle, and with traditional heaters it consumes 0.89 kW. According to these parameters, the model is included in the cohort of the most energy-efficient full-size ovens on the market.

Many modes

The 70-liter AEG BSK 892330 M provides 8 standard and 8 special modes of operation. The first are, first of all, individual heating methods (convection, grill and conventional heaters) and their various combinations. Among the special modes, there is a separate function for making yogurt, warming plates, keeping warm, slow simmering, defrosting, drying and preserving, cooking breaded dishes, including casseroles, lasagna, etc.

Steam function

AEG BSK 892330 M is a steam oven with a special water refill tank and an extensive range of SteamPro steam cooking functions. The user can set the desired humidity level. Low steam is suitable for cooking meat dishes, and the maximum thick steam is suitable for vegetables, side dishes and fish.

Separate steam modes are offered for reheating food, SousVide (vacuum) cooking, dough rising and bread baking. Steam is also used in the model for cleaning: one of the 2 available care programs is selected in the menu in accordance with the degree of contamination of the working chamber.

Rich equipment

The oven is controlled by a TFT touch display with a child lock function. For lovers of juicy meat and fish dishes, a temperature probe is included with the model. It will allow you to measure the temperature inside the pulp and simplify the control of readiness. There is also a Soft Closing Door, telescopic guides on the same level, a grid and 2 baking sheets of different depths.

The shortcomings of the AEG BSK 892330 M include a low temperature limit (230 °C), which is offset by an abundance of modes, a steam function, as well as SousVide, where more than 60 °C is usually not needed. The downside is the high price. But if you are looking for one of the most functional and at the same time economical ovens, then the price tag should not be a hindrance.
