Powerful and fast, the capability to overclock the graphics card with standard Predator Sense software, excellent cooling system with two fans, high-quality, bright and vibrant 144Hz display, two slots for M.2 SSD and one slot for SATA 3, a very cool and powerful Wi-Fi module (probably the best for laptops available right now), high-quality noise cancellation for the microphone even in turbo mode with fans spinning at 6000 RPM. All laptops nowadays have only one incurable problem, and that's backlight bleeding. Here, I noticed only one small one at the bottom, which doesn't interfere and is only slightly visible in complete darkness on a fully black screen. Those who have read about this model know about such cases. It's not specifically an Acer issue, but concerns all top gaming laptops with IPS panels. For me, it's not a significant drawback, rather unnoticeable, but I mentioned it for the particularly picky. You'll see it yourself in YouTube reviews. I can also point out the microphone quality; its noise cancellation is 10 out of 10, but the microphone itself, performance-wise, is mediocre. Still, it's better than the lower models or my previous Acer Aspire from 2017. |
Everything is great, just don't make mistakes by buying from shady websites like I did before with a Lenovo Y740 from Luckylink with an RTX 2080, but it works like a GTX 1050, everything is slow in general. You can check it out and read about it. I recommend buying from Rozetka, Tsifra, or Citrus, there they won't deceive you. Personally, I bought from Rozetka and didn't regret it. The small battery is really small, like a thick phone, compact for a 17-inch laptop, weighs a little, very powerful, well, that's understandable with such specifications, overall a great computer for its money. There is practically nothing, except that the processor gets quite hot in games. |

As for games, currently everything runs on "ultra" at 60-100+ fps minimum. The microphone is so-so, but the noise cancellation is simply incredible. Even if you turn up the speakers to a high volume or activate the turbo cooling mode, the person on Discord won't hear anything but your voice. I've never encountered anything like it. The webcam quality is mediocre in low light, but it's pretty standard 720p in daylight. Three weeks of experience using it.
In conclusion, for the next 5-6 years, there's nothing to worry about except maybe cleaning out the dust sometimes. Happy as a clam. Maybe I'll later swap one RAM from 8 to 16GB.
