I bought the mat to meet all needs - gaming, work, and internet surfing. It handles all tasks brilliantly. It lays on the table in a vertical position, so that the arm is almost elbow-deep on the mat, which is very convenient, especially in games. The surface is soft and pleasant but gets dirty easily. The bottom part is grippy, clings to the table excellently and doesn't slide around. I've been using the mat for about six months, it hasn't come apart anywhere, no threads are coming out, it looks good. It does accumulate dust quickly, and any speck of dirt is visible on it. If you slightly scratch it with something, a light mark will be left, which smoothes out over time. For this price, it's impossible to complain about the mat at all; I think it's perfect.
